Yip, finally…counting down to 2nd June 2013. The next 100 days will require absolute FOCUS -Rome Marathon, Paris Marathon, MTN 60km long run and then the grueling 87km UP RUN…a tall order indeed! The only way through all these thousand kms of running is to FOCUS…one training run at a time. Focus on taking care of my body; Focus on eating properly; Focus on getting enough rest.
I am enjoying every minute of this journey. Never ever in a million years would I have thought this is what I would be doing in 2013. I am completely amazed at how my body has transformed and are able to cope with the increasing load and intensity of the training. The pink cherry on top of the cake? I have lost almost 5kg since started training in Oct’12! I am growing stronger everyday both physically and mentally; going faster – now completely hooked onmy running! An addict.
Training in March and April will come with lots of challenges; travelling abroad, seasons changing, lots of energy sapping activities as we tour Europe…I guess this is my journey. So the next 100 days you will see me detailing my journey on this blog. This is such an amazing experience I want to share it with the whole world! 🙂
