The 2 most challenging things about following a new training program is to “START” and then to “STICK to the PLAN”. Not sure how, but I’ve manage to do exactly that this week!
I did not do the long run on Sunday as I raced on Saturday but in total I have logged 36km for the week…still a Million Miles to go before 70km a week with about 8 weeks??? to go.
Definitely need to start PUMPING IRON. This weekend’s race was full of hills. PROCLAIMATION HILL! When you tired and it comes to LEGS vs LUNGS, neither will win. What’s important is the CORE and your ARMS. They will ensure you keep moving forward when all else fails! Especially climbing those hills! :-).
