Thought I would start off today’s blog with just thanking all my readers for the support and words of encouragement – It really keeps me motivated to see that you all interested in how I am progressing. The cherry on top of the cake is that Running has actually made me Blog! I have had more than 330 hits on my site…so thats means more than 100 hits per month! I always wanted to blog, but was not sure what do blog about and how and where to start…With both blogging and running I have learnt that the key is "just to start". Things will change along the way – is not gonna be perfect from the start but through that you learn. I already have a couple of ideas to kick start a few other blogs to express my passion for photography, starting a business and who knows what else :-)…What’s this space for the BIG announcements!
Back to business…running 🙂
This mornings run was terrible! I could not get myself to run, mostly walked. Felt tired – my body is saying NO in the midst of my PEAK training period. I could’nt even do my Tuesday run, was still recovering from my 2 races last week :-(. So not sure what to do…I am doing he carbo loading, starting to drink sport drinks and water during the day so technically i should be having all the energy required to finish a 40min/5km run EASILY! I guess if you can’t. you can’t. Will try again tomorrow – hopefull there will be some improvement. There better otherwise I am in trouble for Sunday’s 15km race.
